HJWA Christmas Party, 2008

Our annual Christmas Party was held on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Club 533, and it was a blast! The food was exceptionally catered by Boss-Chi with huge, succulent shrimp, incredibly prepared salmon, hand-sliced ham and roast beef with rolls, sumptuous desserts, and all types of fruits with a chocolate fountain in which to smother the fruit to your liking. The egg nog added a holiday touch, and there was a cash bar for anyone who wanted something else. There was dancing to the incredible tunes of Gridloc, and Marilyn did her thing at a table with the latest HJWA Newsletter and sign-ups for members for 2009 with prizes donated from area merchants to some of those who paid their membership dues in advance. Thank you so much to Pat Smith and Demmie Murray for all of the preparations and to Marilyn, Liza and Charles who came early to help with set-up. The party was a huge success, and everyone in attendance was definitely in the Christmas spirit!
